Three quick steps
01
Choose an MP4, MOV, WebM, or another supported video file from your device.
02
Select 90° right, 90° left, or 180°. Flip horizontally or vertically when you need a mirror image.
03
Check the live preview, create a new MP4, and download it with the audio track when present.
Direction matters
Use the direction that makes the full frame upright. This is useful for sideways phone clips, upside-down action-camera footage, screen recordings, and videos from a front-facing camera. A 90° turn swaps a landscape video's width and height; it does not crop it into a vertical social-video format.

Same source frame
Turn a sideways phone recording clockwise to its upright orientation.

Same source frame
Correct a video that was recorded fully upside down.

Same source frame
Turn the other way when the clip needs a counterclockwise correction.
MP4 video rotator
Upload MP4, MOV, or WebM video files and download the rotated result as an MP4. The downloaded file saves the direction you choose, which can help when different players recognize a video's direction differently.
A video can look upright on a phone but sideways elsewhere. This tool creates a new MP4 rather than only changing the page preview, so test the downloaded file in the player where you plan to use it.
Mirror the frame
Rotation turns the whole frame. Flipping creates a mirror image instead: horizontal flip exchanges left and right, while vertical flip exchanges top and bottom. Use either flip independently or combine it with a rotation.
Mirror a webcam recording, a selfie camera clip, or any video where left and right need to swap.
Turn the frame upside down without changing its left-to-right direction.
Private processing
Your selected video is processed on your device. It is not sent to an editing server, and Quick Video Tools does not add a watermark.
Private by default
Your video stays on your device while you edit it.
Built for common formats
MP4 and WebM are the most dependable choices. Some MOV videos may not open, depending on how they were saved and the browser you use. Files can be up to 200MB.
A different kind of edit
Rotation corrects a video's direction while keeping the full image. To remove unwanted edges or reframe a clip, use Crop Video Online. To play it from end to start, use Reverse Video Online. To shorten the moment first, use Trim Video Online.
Upload a video, choose 90° right, 90° left, or 180°, check the preview, then export and download the new MP4.
Select your MP4, choose 90° Right or 90° Left, and click Rotate & Download. The downloaded MP4 saves the direction you selected.
Yes. Quick Video Tools does not add a branded watermark to the MP4 you download, and no account is required.
You can use a compatible mobile browser to select and rotate a video. Results and speed depend on your browser and device; shorter clips are usually easier to process.
The tool creates a new MP4, so small quality changes are possible. Start with the highest-quality original video you have.
No. The downloaded video keeps the original audio when it is present.
Rotation changes a video's direction. Flipping mirrors it horizontally or vertically. Cropping removes parts of the frame; it does not turn the full video.
