Privacy Policy for Quick Video Tools

This policy explains how Quick Video Tools handles information when you use our in-browser video tools. Last updated: August 27, 2026.

Videos are edited in your browser

The video tools run on your device. We do not ask you to upload files to a Quick Video Tools account or online library.

No account required

You can use the current tools without creating a profile, saving projects, or providing a name.

Limited technical data

Like most websites, hosting and security systems may process basic logs such as IP address, browser type, pages visited, and request times.

Temporary browser storage

Your browser may keep temporary working data while you preview and export a file.

What We Collect

Quick Video Tools is designed to edit your selected video file in your browser. We do not operate a user account system for these tools, and we do not provide online storage for your video projects.

We may receive limited technical information that is normally created when a browser loads a website. This can include your IP address, browser and device information, referring page, requested URLs, timestamps, and error information used for security, reliability, abuse prevention, and basic site operation.

If you email us, we will receive the email address, message content, attachments you choose to send, and any details needed to respond to your support request.

How In-Browser Video Editing Works

When you choose a video file, your browser reads that file so the tool can preview, edit, and export the result. The file is not added to a Quick Video Tools online library, and we do not need to host the source video to create the edited video.

Your browser may temporarily use memory or storage on your device while the video is being edited. Closing the page or clearing browser data can remove temporary session data.

If you voluntarily send a file to us by email for troubleshooting, that copy is handled as part of your support request and is separate from ordinary use of the tools.

How We Use Information

Operate the site

Deliver pages, run the tools, fix problems, maintain performance, and keep the service available.

Protect the service

Detect errors, prevent abuse, improve reliability, and maintain reasonable security controls.

Respond to support

Use messages you send to investigate issues, answer questions, and improve unclear parts of the experience.

Sharing and Retention

We may use infrastructure, hosting, analytics, email, and security providers that process limited technical data on our behalf. We do not sell your personal information. Technical logs are kept only as long as needed for operations, security, legal compliance, and troubleshooting. Support emails are retained as needed to respond and maintain a record of the issue.

Your Choices

You can choose not to provide a file, close the page before exporting, clear browser storage, or avoid sending optional support attachments. You can also contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of personal information you have provided directly by email, subject to legal and security limitations.

Children, Changes, and Contact

Quick Video Tools is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can review the request.

We may update this policy as the site changes. The date above shows when this page was last updated.
